Description

Corrupt uncertain inscriptions, draped, laureate bust right / Corrupt VIRTVS EXERCITI, Emperor holding spear and shield, crowned by Victory. 13mm, 1.2 rams. Imitating RIC X 70-71. Coins of this type with a clear name are very rare.I accumulated a lot of barbaric coins for analysis for my book, and now will be selling them bit by bit.A full article about these coins will appear in my book about barbarous coinage (no title yet :-) in the end of this coming summer.
