The Montblanc 2021 Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Ballpoint Pen honors the great writer with design elements inspired by the world of Sherlock Holmes.  It features blue-gray precious-resin construction with ruthenium-coated details, evoking the sinister, foggy atmosphere of London.  The cap and barrel are decorated after the plaid pattern of Holmes' coat, so well as parts of a historic London map. The PVD-coated clip takes the form of a magnifying glass, beneath which are the initials of Joseph Bell, the very real man who inspired the creation of Sherlock Holmes.  Doyle's signature is engraved on the cap band, along with the 'Oct. 30, 1886' order date for 'A Study in Scarlet', between a vine motif from the novel's title page.  T
