Montblanc Meisterstuck Czar Nikolai I Ballpoint Pen Gold Vermeil & Malachite

Description

Up for bid is an absolutely gorgeous Montblanc ballpoint pen. It is a 1996 Montblanc Meisterstuck Solitaire vermeil and malachite Doue Czar Nikolai I ballpoint. The pen features a gilded barrel and ornamentation (gold-plated on 925 sterling silver). The cap is encased in malachite. It has a serial number marked on it. It says “BHS00341.” I’m not certain about the S in the serial number. It could be a 5.
This pen does does not include the box or papers. It does include the pictured ballpoint refill, which is currently writing, but I’m not sure how much ink is left in it. It was very lightly used and shows light surface wear. There are no cracks, dents, major scratches, etc.
This amazing pen belonged to my father, who was an avid fountain pen collector. I do not claim to be a pen expert, but I can vouch for the quality of his pen collection.
