PREOWNED
GENTLY USED
GENUINE MONTBLANC CLASSIQUE MEISTERSTUCK ROLLERBALL INK PEN with (1) one extra genuine MONTBLANC medium-point blue refill cartridge and (1) one extra fine-point blue refill cartridge
.
This listing is for the pen and the two extra refill ink cartridge only.
Unfortunately, I have misplaced and no longer have the box and/or any of the paperwork.
I owned this pen for over 25 years and had completely forgotten about it until it was recently rediscovered, along with one other Montblanc (ballpoint twist-top style) pen, while cleaning out storage boxes containing items from my old office I packed away after my retirement.
Since I’ve retired I really don’t have a need to hold onto either of the pens so I decided to list them both and provide the opportunity for someone else to enjoy them as much as I did.
Of course, as expected, since the pen had been in storage for over 10 years, the ink cartridge had dried.
So, I purchased two brand new genuine Montblanc medium-point “
M
” BLUE ink cartridges so I could test the instrument and illustrate it was working properly.
Refer to description # 10 for more details.
Included in this listing is a the second new “
M
” medium blue ink cartridge from the new purchase and another fine-point “
F”
BLUE ink cartridge that I ended up finding a few days later.
Please refer to description photo # 1 to verify what is included in this listing and for more details about what I have described.
The Montblanc Meisterstück Classique rollerball ink pen features Montblanc’s proprietary deep black “precious resin” body with gorgeous gold-coated details that is surmounted by the Montblanc iconic trademark six-pointed snowcap white-star emblem that evokes the company’s highest quality and distinction.
This pen was well taken care of and remains in very good condition as can easily be verified when viewing the description photos.
The gold-coated clip band atop the pen features the finely engraved country name “
GERMANY
” and a nine character “
serial number
” (EG2543213) for this individual pen.
Note, there is no “
PIX
” stamp on the underside of the clip; Montblanc only began incorporating the use of the “
PIX
” trademark stamp on their pen clips in
1997
.
Refer to description photos # 6 and # 7 to see the close-up images and for more details about what I have described.
The pen also features three gold-coated bands around the bottom of the pen cap.
It is said these (3) three rings are meant to represent the three men (
Wilhelm Dziambor, Christian Lausen and Claus Johannes)
who ultimately set Montblanc on its journey to become the worldwide brand it is today.
The center band is slightly raised and is flanked by two thinner flush bands.
The center band is also finely engraved with the company name “
MONTBLANC
” and the pen’s model name “
MEIESTERSTRUCK
”.
Refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described.
The Montblanc proprietary “precious resin” glossy black barrel of the pen remains in very good condition as can be confirmed in the description photos.
Also, as verified in the description photos, the pen cap is adorned with the iconic Montblanc proprietary “precious resin” inlaid brilliant white colored stylized six-pointed “snowcap” with rounded edges emblem.
Please refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described.
As all astute Montblanc pen admirers and owners recognize, and as is confirmed by the Montblanc Company, the black “precious resin” pen bodies emit a deep “reddish” hue color whenever it is placed in front of a high-intensity brilliant colored light.
Although the photo was difficult to capture, you can easily verify in viewing description photo # 8 that the pen positively emits the desired “reddish” hue color thus further confirming its authenticity.
Montblanc writing implements are highly sought after pieces as they are recognized as being the pinnacle of classiness and are beautiful looking ink pens.
Often, these pens become heirloom pieces and are handed down to the next generation of up and coming professionals and business executives.
Overall, this Montblanc Classique Meisterstück rollerball ink pen remains in stunningly beautiful condition, despite being over 25-years old.
The high-quality and exquisite craftsmanship of this pen will amaze you.
When you hold the pen in your hand, and begin writing, you can instantly identify it as a Montblanc pen.
The pen writes incredibly smooth and is extremely comfortable to hold.
If you are looking for an impressive statement piece for business use or pleasure, this is the pen that will more than satisfy and full-fill your desire and need.
I copied the below information about the Montblanc Company and their high-quality and coveted ink pens for your further review and consideration.
The Montblanc
Company was founded in 1906 by a Hamburg banker named Alfred Nehemias and, a Berlin engineer named August Eberstein.
The company began producing simple pens under the company name Simplizissiumus-Füllhalter in Berlin.
In 1907, the company moved to Hamburg and changed its name to Simplo Filler Pen Co. GmbH and was incorporated under that name in 1908.
After a short period of time Wilhelm Dziambor, Christian Lausen, and later Claus Johannes Voss assumed control of the business whereupon they built it into the world renowned company it is today.
A trademark identified with Montblanc is the white stylized six-pointed snowcap with rounded edges that represents the Mont Blanc snowcap as seen from above.
The symbol was formally adopted by the company in 1913.
The current company name “Montblanc” wasn’t adopted until in 1934.
The company is most known for its luxury pens and also designs and distributes bags, small leather goods, and watches.
Montblanc makes several models of pens, with the Meisterstück (fountain pen) representing the cornerstone model.
Each is slightly different; however Meisterstück models created after 1990 have a serial number located on the ring at the top of the clip.
The barrels of pens are made of black “precious resin” which will reveal a “reddish” hue under strong lighting; if the pen in question does not have these attributes then it is possibly a fake.
Please look at the photos closely as they accurately depict the Montblanc Classique Meisterstück rollerball pen and extra ink cartridges I describe and show exactly what you will receive if you purchase this piece.
