    Diocletian (AD 284-305). Follis (21 mm, 6.4 gm).
    Rome, abdication issue,  laureate bust of Diocletian right, virewed from front, wearing imperial mantle, holding olive branch and mappa / Providentia standing right, extending hand to Quies standing left, holding branch and scepter.  A fellow numismatist informed me that this coin is
    RIC VI Antioch 96, page 629.   The paper with the coin is from the original collector Circa 1970 and suggested this coin is an unpublished variety.   I honestly don't know the variety but my price is firm on this lovely coin.
