Complete 1964 Boxed Set SCOUTS OF THE WORLD, 68 Boy Scout post cards

$ 21.12

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
  • Organization: Boy Scouts
  • Condition: It would be misleading to call something from 1964 "new." However, the postcards have never been used. They look like they have rarely been taken out of the box. (I took them out to count them, and there is some slight damage to the flap on one end - see photo - so they clearly had been taken out sometime previously.) There is some slight age discoloration to the opposite end, and a bit of scuffing to one corner on the back of the box.

    Description

    In 1964, the Boy Scouts of America published a boxed set of 68 postcards titled "Scouts of the World."  Each card carried the image of a Boy Scout in the uniform of  one of the countries that had a scouting organization. Among elsewhere, these sets were sold at the U.S. National Jamboree that was held in Valley Forge during July of that year. Around the outside of the box could be found a listing of the various countries. We will ship this in a USPS Small Flat Rate Priority Mail Box. Note: whenever possible we combine shipping on all items that close within a reasonable time period and pass any postage savings on to our buyers.
