    Description

    Nice ancient Roman bronze As struck at the Rome Mint under Vespasian, 69-79 AD.    27-28 mm diameter (min/max), 11.5 grams.  A scarce and well-detailed example commemorating the Roman victory on Lake Galilee during the Jewish war.
    OBVERSE:  IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS IIII, laureate head right
    REVERSE:  VICTORIA NAVALIS - S C, Victory standing right on prow, holding wreath and palm.
