    Description

    Offered is an incredible and huge Alexandrian drachm showing Domitian in a biga of Centaurs. Obv. Bust of Domitian facing right. Rev. Domitian in a chariot being pulled by twin centaurs. Struck on a 34.5mm bronze flan weighing 26.5 gm. with slight flan cracks on the rim resulting from a very forceful strike. In the beautiful condition shown with nice patina and great detail on the centaurs which is rare for this issue.
