*Condition Note:  This pen is new with a manufacturing irregularity that slipped by Montblanc's inspection.  The joining of the barrel to the finial is slightly offset, resulting in corners that do not properly align.  The effect is only about 0.01 inches / 0.25 mm, but remains easily perceptible to the human eye.  Shown are images of the actual pen.
The Heritage Collection Egyptomania Special Edition Ballpoint celebrates the pioneering spirit of Montblanc with design inspired by Montblanc's Egyptian-themed instruments from the 1920's.  The pen features an octagonal shape with black precious-resin and vintage-finished metal construction.  T
he clip-end takes the image of a scarab beetle
.  "Montblanc" is engraved on the barrel in gold-lacquer inlaid hieroglyphics.  The finishing touch is the iconic Montblanc snowcap, engraved into a click-mechanism button.
